    Global Internet Censorship

The European Union demanded from Twitter, YouTube, Facebook to start removing the so-called "False News." EU Commissioners threatened that if the Internet giants do not take satisfactory steps to remove "false news" they adoption acts which legalize censorship which block "illegal hate speech.".

The problem is the lack of a definition of what is "illegal hate speech" or "false news" which clearly indicates that we are dealing with Orwellian newspeak in the strict sense. Characteristic feature of Orwellian newspeak is to create terms that do not have definitions and have as wide interpretation as possible. Such interpretation create situation when each content can be banned if officials choose so. At the same time the decision may be taken in any way. Person who showing the information have no certainty that generates "false news", because at any moment a completely different definition determines what is "false news", which can lead to certain sanctions.
In this light sees the new EU regulations representative of the British UKIP Diane James, who in an interview for portal Breitbart stated that the European definition of hate speech "is so vague that it is the beginning of the tip of the iceberg, not only restrict hate speech, but also freedom of speech." One of the problems is the situation in which the decision is made by the European Commission, which has no mandate from societies of European countries and the Commission is internal organ chosen by the political establishment.
How dangerous could be an action carried out by the EC shows list of sites supposedly showing "false information" created by the American progressive organization and presented by the Washington Post. List did not included any associated with the so-called mainstream media also called "old media" even though many times that media present false incomplete, information.
For now YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and Microsoft announced that they intend to implement digital solutions to track the so-called "extremist" content on the basis of digital fingerprints. Unfortunately it has not been shown what actually are these extremist content. It is worrying that the EU representatives who meet with Internet giants this week as extremist content treat all information that are directly related to the criticism of the EU and the anti-EU movements. This could lead sooner or later to a situation where legitimate criticism and the right to public opposition is deemed extremist content.
